A large number of prominent political, business and media personalities in Kuwait, including Parliament Speaker Jassem Al-Khorafi and Arab Times/Al-Seyassah Editor-in-Chief Ahmed Al-Jarallah, attended a gathering organized Sunday by Global Investment House (Global) at its headquarters in Sharq to celebrate its success in rescheduling the payment of its debts.

Managing Director of Global Maha Al-Ghunaim and CEO of the company Bader Al-Sumait welcomed the guests who enjoyed various activities. Several speeches on different issues were delivered, including political concerns like the government’s triumph over four interpellation requests discussed in the Parliament last week. Global has finalized an agreement with the Creditors Committee, which consists of 53 local and international banks, to restructure its debts.
